real debrid not working??

hi ive just signed up to real debrid for a year
ive authorised the acount and for about an hour everthng was great
I added specto
and now the exodus real debrid sources dont load
i cant un sighn specto either
Why did it work before??
i have re authorized but no joy

You nred to authorise real debrid separately for exodus and specto from within each addon tools/settings. Are you doing that?

Hi Sean, pretty certain exodus and specto have to be authorised within the addons rather than universally - the blog you've posted is quite old from 2016.
Here's a guide from our friends at the ares project

Exodus- requires (re)authorization from within the addons tool settings.
-S.A.L.T.S.- (currently down) http://www.ares-project-blog.com/kodi-how-to-tutorials/salts-configuration-guide/
-Elysium- (Zen renamed) Requires to be enabled in Tools>Debrid> click on Enable Real Debrid.
-HEVC- Video Club- requires same process as Exodus.
-Release Hub- Configuration>Auto view settings>enable & (re)authorize.
-Real Movies- Enable via Real Debrid Login found at the bottom of the add-on.
-Specto- Same as Exodus.
-BOB- Enabled via Mrknow URL Resolver. (same process as Universal URL Resolver)
-Skynet-Silent Hunter & Maverick, questionable at time of testing, many links not working.
-IceFilms- not tested.
-Icestream- not tested.
-StreamHub- not tested.
Other Add-ons will be tested in the very near future and when the current Add-ons displaced by the TVA situation find new homes

Thanks for that @Nigelar just authorised specto but exodus has never stopped working for me and has always pulled up RD links and have wondered what all the fuss was about with all the posts on ares about it. Have only ever authorised RD in url resolver and am guessing it has always worked in exodus because I have never had to reinstall that addon. I really need to start reading a few of the posts to get the jist of things....

Use your devices original ip address when authorising accounts etc in kodi, then you can turn your vpn back on.

my bro manages my vpn coz he has given me one of his codes
he spent hours re programing my net gear night halk or wotever its called so the vpn is direct through router
2 do this i had 2 unplug sky router
hes put a kilswitch on it so wen vpn mibehaves and goes offf i dont have internet so sky cant trace me
is there a alternitive or have i wasted my money
exodus sort of work but it skips most debris sources and goes 2 number 17 ect still debris but not as good as the top ones
It did this morning wen i fist authorised it on the same episode of silicon valley season 4 the second to last one

The moral of this story is, dont set your vpn up through your router, set it up per device

Real debrid sources will still skip if the link or host is down. Just be happy it is better than no real debrid.
