Caught the ransomware virus on my android Q7 and cannot access my box to reach the settings menu. Every tutorial I watch or read is simply for android phones and are no help with instructions for the removal of the virus. Can anyone give me an idea if what to do, I'm very frustrated.

I dont know how deep this virus embeds itself.
However, here are instructions for running a factory reset on droidbox q7 models which may or may not work.

For the benefit of the community you may want to tell us how you caught the virus and whether the reset cleared it.

I tried the hard reset using the recovery button on the bottom of my Q7 and the android shows up saying" no command"

When this happens see if pressing the "volume up" button the remote makes a difference. It may present you with an additional menu.

That worked although I could not read the following screen I was able to pick out the reset command and it worked. Thank you so much it has been 3 days of headache and looking up youtube videos with no luck. The app I clicked on which sent me this horrible virus was "porndroid"
