Problems updating to kodi 17

hi,
i have the t8splus, and i can get kodi 17 build on it no problem, but everything is a little jerky, like movies! i have tried fresh install, wipe date and factory reset. when i go back to kodi 16.1 jarvis, it seems okay.

i went to ota updates but it says up to date! help and thanks

Can you clarify something. You say "Kodi 17 build". Have you added a build to Kodi 17 (I say this because "Kodi" itself is not a build). Some builds are incompatible with Kodi 17.

Also, when you say "everything is a little jerky", which Addons? Which movies?

At any rate, running with 16.1 is not a bad thing, it will be around for a long time yet, so if it works, leave it alone.

I have Kodi 17 with Mega Build Krypton, a favourite Wookie community build and it works fine. I have DBMX, SPMC and CEMC, and also LibreElec, so I have 4 other options if Kodi 17 has problems.

Hi, Yes put on a couple different builds, it seems like it is just in kodi 17! Wondering why it would do that seeing that others on here have no problems. The add-ons so far that I watch the most movies is Exodus and Spectro. I have tried "kodinolimits" and a "Husham" builds so far. Thanks

I find in kodi 17.0 if you just add the links yourself in file manager then add the repos yourself it works fine. You will aways get some judder on some links so just look around for others.
Also have a play with Acceleration setting see if these help.
