I was wondering if anyone else is having problems connecting to the play store just keep getting it isn't compatible with this version. I have the latest update installed and I'm also getting it on the imxq pro v2 although you have an option to undo updates on google play that lets you get into it

Have a look at this thread. There was another update in early March which apparently fixes this. Make sure you have it.

Yeah mate I think the update was only for v2 box and it never sorted the problem on that one either for me anyway

The new update does not fix this problem.You need to install the latest version from apk mirror and make sure the version has the prefix (0) not (8)

Hi chris. That is interesting but disappointing news. Have you told Droidbox?
