Password

Hi,Bought Q7 box from DroidSticks was working fine but I was going through settings ( on mini keyboard) put in a password and confirmed ok.When I restarted box unit comes on and asks for password put password in wrong password comes up. Tried pressing restore button on bottom of unit .First on its own then holding button and putting in power lead in still the same.Anyone know if there is a default password or how to clear.

If the restore button is on the bottom of the unit, it is probably what we (DroidBOX) call an X7 device. See https://droidbox.co.uk/droidbox-x7.html and https://droidbox.co.uk/blog/how-to-access-your-droidboxs-recovery-menu/

If you're certain about the password, you could try plugging in a USB keyboard temporarily, to try and enter the password that way.

Hi,It's ok managed to sort it.What they don't tell you is you have to press the reset button on the base untill the dead android appears the press the vol/+ button on your remote
reset menu then appears
