OpenELEC Grant superuser flashed off before i could press it

Hi, I'm just setting up my new box so far I have -

Connected
Backed up to SD
Updated
Switched to OpenELEC

but the second i switched to it and the box to grant permissions came up and immediately disappeared again and the thing booted into OpenELEC kodi.

I'm now concerned that its not going to run properly and am worried that will cause problems down the line - how can I start over/grant permissions?

It will run properly. It is not necessary to grant permissions. If you want to grant permissions, on Android side go to Apps(circle with six dots) then "SuperSU" Application and there you can grant permission manually.
