No Updates

As we've no chance of lollipop update is there any chance of them giving us some kind of update for the weather widget thing not working.
I see pretty pics of it working on the T8S-Plus so surely it cant be that difficult to push some kind of minuscule update to make ours work or has the T8S just been dumped altogether ?
Are there any homebrew or other makers willing to try and write stuff for these boxes ?
Its small and trivial but really annoying.

It's a joke really. They reel you in with the promise of "frequent updates" then as soon as they've sold enough or the next model comes out they dump all over you and dump the box you've got so if you want the latest OS you need to buy the latest box. Old M8 boxes still get updates and they've been out for years. Never again DroidBox ..... once bitten and all that

i updated the latest rom the other day for my t8s plus and the weather widget is now working fine, i think it took a couple of attempts to enter the location but got there in the end

I have a T8S. Not the T8S-Plus.
