New firmware, no OpenElec option

I got my box yesterday and upgraded to the latest firmware. I see no 'reboot into OpenElec' option. Confused.

Hi, It should be in your apps, click the +/- on your homescreen to add it as a shortcut.

No, it's not there, honest. This isnt about the shortcuts, the app isnt there.

Is it possible you flashed the T8 firmware manually, onto your T8-S?
Let us know the precise steps you took when upgrading the firmware and we'll work out what went wrong.

If you're comfortable checking your device's filesystem, if you've a T8-S firmware in place right now, then /system/app should have droidbox_switch.apk in there.

I wondered that too, but I dont see how that would be possible.

I went into the OTA updater, following the instructions here (https://droidbox.co.uk/blog/t8-s-ota-update-31-10-2015/)

Interestingly, when I got into Settings, other, it shows model number T8, whilst the underside of my Droidbox definitely says T8-S.
