new box trouble!!!

I just got my mxq box and hooked it up today. The blue power light comes on but shows no video or audio at all. Tried unplugging it and plugging it back in but still does not give picture. If I power with the remote the light changes from blue to red but that's it. Can anyone help please?

Initial thoughts are to try a different hdmi lead then a different tv and/or hdmi port.
If you did not buy from droidbox you could also contact the seller for advice or fixing if under warranty?
