netflix won't run

hi all,
i have a message on my androd box '' netflix won't run unless you update google play services ''
i hit the update button and the page changes to a white blank screen.... i can go no further.

any help with this issue please.

You will be lucky to get current versions of Netflix to run on android boxes as the NFX developers have generally blocked it working on unsupported and rooted boxed.
At any rate you could try updating play services independently of netflix via the google play store.
Have you had netflix working before?
What version?
Sometimes older versions do work but not current so you might be able to revert to one.

netflix has been working ok up until about 3 days ago.
i have version 4.16.1 build 200147
tried updating p/s from g p s and it went to white blank screen again.
where do i find older versions ?

This site has pages of old versions. Scroll back to see them.

You might be lucky and find one that works. It might be worth switching off auto update on the play store in case it inadvertantly overwrites a working older version with a new one. You can always update apps individually. For info the version you quote is a very old one (4.x.x). They are currently up to 6.x.x.
