I understand that the US version of Netflix has more content than the UK.
is there a way to download their app? Appreciated

Download Hola then open it and select Netflix then just log in as normal

Thanks @Straff80 it keeps defaulting back to my preloaded UK app. But it does work from my mobile, casting to tv.
so got there in the end. Appreciated

Try logging in to your UK Netflix first then press the home button and go in through Hola, works on my t8 box when I have the same issue

You'd have to use US based VPN to pipe your connection through but Netflix has been banning those connections a lot lately. So probably you are out of luck.
