Somewhere over the rainbow
Hi, go out of kodi and then two cogs on the main menu. Now go to other and more setting and apps. Scroll down to kodi and see which one you have, if it's one you have downloaded delete it and try again. You can get kodi on the droidbox Market, and DBMC which is there version. Also you can get kodi on the Play store too.
See if this helps you

In addition to Dave's advice it may also be that the link between the kodi icon on the launcher screen and the kodi app is broken. As Dave suggests this can sometimes be fixed by updating with latest firmware which re-establish the link. If this fails you can create a new kodi shortcut on the launcher home page or access kodi from the apps page.
