Can anyone please help me, my music track skipping while streaming from network drive

Is this within XBMC/SPMC/Kodi? If so, which build? Click the System Info entry underneath the System menu.
Can you exit XBMC/etc and open ES File Explorer. Scroll to the right until you can add a new LAN server. Access where the music is shared, and see how the playback is when using other apps. This will tell us where to concentrate investigations on.
