Moving home will t8s work in new home different ip etc?

Hi I thought this,I moved 3 days ago plugged box in and it worked didn't have to do anything,
Till last night when I did the OTA update and it crashed my box:-(

I took my T8-S to Baku from UK. Plugged in, worked first time. Still gives location as UK on the front screen, I'm fine with that. This is without activating Tunnelbear

Just a quick FYI, the homescreen location is just for the weather widget, other apps won't know which city you're checking the weather of.
If you visit https://www.whatismyip.com/my-ip-information/?iref=home you can check which country you apparent IP address appears as.
