M8 new firmware?

Hi, I have a few questions

1) Where can i get the latest m8 firmware? If I need it?

2) How do I know if my box is a fake or not?

3) Is it possible to use the OTA update, with zip files etc?

4) Is it possible to install to Paid apps (Hotspot shield specifcally) , so that I can utilize my VPN service.

5) my box straps to jitter after around 30 mins of playback when watching high Def video.... any idea, tried playing with codes etc.

Try megatron.tv for your f/w and v3 is the most upto date.

1) Please note flashing 3rd party firmwares can invalidate your warranty
2) Simple enough, send us an e-mail - [email protected] with the info from http://www.droidboxforums.com/threads/what-to-include-if-you-need-to-e-mail-us.364/ ... If we can find your order with us, it is a genuine DroidBOX device
3) Update & Backup (application) or the Recovery Menu are normally used for locally stored firmware files. Also see 1). Not the OTA app anyway.
4) Yes, definitely, if you've already paid for an app, you should be able to find it in Google's Play Store app (as long as you sign in with the same Google account as previously) and install it. See https://droidbox.co.uk/blog/faq-2/googles-play-store-signing-in-and-auto-updates/ if you've not used the Play Store on your DroidBOX yet
5) Storage space left on device? Tried a different build of XBMC/SPMC/Kodi/DBMC?
