Live streams and kodi 17

If you are experiencing some issues viewing live streams in kodi 17, it is worth reading this article which also provides a simple fix.

hi i im running kodi 16.1 , and when i download kodi 17.1 and then click on it to load/extract
i get the message parse error.. ive tried the apk editor ap but that ddnt work any ideas??

No. The version of android. Try Settings - about. I suspect android 4.4.2 which is incompatible with kodi 17.

It isn't all doom and gloom regarding you not being able to update to krypton mate, with the python change in there and some of the links in exodus changing to https. Uninstall your kodi 16.1 and d/l and install the FTMC apk (a fork of kodi 16.1 with a twist that can handle these new changes) from the link below and you will be able to stream everything kodi 17.1 can on your imx6. http://freak-tab.de/luis/Ftmc/FTMC-16.1-armeabi-v7a-Build-25.apk

Yes that should work or if you can access the forum from your box download it that way. Uninstall kodi 16.1 before you do tho and also give it time to download from your browser as the d/l will stop once your browser is closed. Good luck
