Always create a kodi/ or equivalent apk backup when your setup is just right and streaming well, with you premium accouts/ api keys/ iptv logins alike bedded in. Use es file explorer/ tools/ enable hidden files on bottom left. Now open Local/ on right open 'Android'/ data/ org.xbmc.kodi or alike/ files/ .kodi/ copy the 'addons and userdata' folders if your using a build with a splash screen or intro copy the 'media' folder also, now paste them into your downloads folder or to an external hdd, can even zip them up into zip file to save space. If you ever run into any kodi problems from now, you have always got a working setup to roll back to, just copy to the correct path/ directory the addons/ userdata you copied them from above and maybe media files you saved from your 'running without a problem setup'. Will save a whole lot of time rebuilding in the long run. I have always used this procedure to do backups as it is solid and works everytime, no addons within kodi needed to do this just es file explorer. I have transferred 100s of setups between pc's/ kodi forks on android boxes this very way.
