Yes it is good. I run the android apps on the t8-s plus and on my phone.

On openelec it's a little more work to set up but fine if you're used to installing add ons manually

You can choose the server you want in the country you want. So it'll get past any geoblocking and it also keeps your data private from your isp

So you saying that somtime when you get error log etc and a stream /film will not play that it might because of the country you live in? Then surly you may face the same problem again from the country you pick to be in?

Only certain addons (1channel, icefilms) use web addresses which are blocked by UK ISPs. With those addons you will not even see lists of films let allow error messages when trying to play them. The error messages you are seeing are likely due to other causes (except on the above addons). You can circumvent isp blocking for the above addons by using proxy web addresses (look it up) although performance may be compromised, as well as using a vpn. You can view the films in the countries you select because they are not being isp blocked by uk isps.
