Internal SATA HDD making visible in ES file manager

Hello to you all. I am using a T8-S Plus which I have added a SATA HDD.

I have formatted the drive using LibreELEC and the drive is visible in LibreELEC. The HDD is not visible in Kodi. My questions:

1. What do I do to see the drive in Kodi ES file explorer?

2. Can I move some of my apps to my HDD?

3. What app would I need to move apps to HDD?

4. How do I set my download to my HDD?

I have read through a lot of the How to docs, but as yet I cannot see the HDD in kodi ES file explorer. I have enabled “Show hidden files”


Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi, my 1tb hdd in es f e is 'local/ udisk0' can you see that in yours?

Hi Sean99,
I spent some time last evening checking all the settings. After that I rebooted and I can now see udisk0 in ES. I will now see if I can move some apps to this drive.

No problem, I use mine solely for storage of my music and lots of other bits and bobs, if you wanted in the likes of exodus settings you can set a path to download directly to that drive, just create a folder on hdd and name it movies then navigate the d/l path to there.
