hi,
I purchased a sata hardrive to install.
I have installed this as per the instructions but I cannot see any evidence of extra storage.
The dials on the home screen still say 26gb and when I go into file explorer I cannot find the hard drive.
Is there anything else I need to do.
Thanks in advance

Hi did you format it in LibreELEC? on my box with my 120GB SSD drive it dont show on the main screen that only shows the internal 30GB storage. Follow the steps in the video below and all will be working for you.

Hello @Daryl Dale
You need to first format your SATA HDD on OpenELEC side as per the above Video and then switch back to Android side.
Once you are on Android side you need to go into Apps(circle with six dots), then go into Es File Explorer and there you can see your internal SATA HDD.

Thanks to you both for your reply
After following your instructions I have managed to find it now.
Is there an easy way to transfer files from the device memory to hdd.
I have the keyboard/mouse remote if this helps
Thanks
