How to update to Kodi stable.

Hello everyone,

Can someone please tell me how to update to Kodi stable, as a was watching a movie yesterday , there was a notification alert at the top of my T8 box which says there is a new version of Xbmc which is Kodi stable.

I just Ignored the message because i dont know what to do / how to update.

Apparently the T8 is not currently supporting kodi until droidbox release an update in the new year.
