How do I save a file so kodi can see it.

i have a droid box t8-s and I was wondering how you save a zip file so kodi can see it?

Hi, if you download it on your browser, if it asks to pick a root pick Google or Chrome.
The download should be saved in the download app in apps on your box. Then in kodi go to system, install from zip and down to External then downloads and it should show up.
Do the same if you have a link in an email or something like that.

Can you please explain us what use case do you have so you are interested in Kodi(XBMC) accessing .zip files.

If its for the add on wizards,you can manually add links which creates .zip files inside Kodi(XBMC) itself

Hello I was trying to install Premier league pass through Kodi I can see the zip file and can find the program under Add-Ons Video addons but then get stuck.

Hi, Premier league pass is a subscription service. You will all so need a VPN to use it,
if your not located in (New Zealand > Taiwan > or the Philippines).
