I have a t8-s but tonight I can't get past the xbmc homepage it just keeps kicking me out and going to a blank screen had no problems until now

Go from the main boot menu to setting, other, more setting and storage and check what you have left. You need around 600MB for kodi to run, the more the better. Delete some apps or downloads and clear cache...if your misc storage is a lot then it might be time to clear data in kodi and rerun the wizard. Try the lite version to save storage.
