Help with favourites

It would probably be a lot quicker to edit the favorites.xml file, see http://kodi.wiki/view/Favourites.xml
Once you have the favorites set up how you want, keep a copy of the XML file, as I think it is replaced each time you run the Wizard. (This way, you can run the Wizard as normal, and then just copy the favourites.xml file back to /mnt/sdcard/Android/data/org.xbmc.xbmc/files/.xbmc/userdata . The exact path will vary, as the org.xbmc.xbmc folder could have a different name. It'll still mention xbmc though. If you've not investigated that area before, and you're using ES File Explorer, then expand the Tools menu on the left, and turn on showing hidden files, as .xbmc (within the "files" directory) is hidden I think.

can this be done via usb stick ? i have never used an sd card and wouldn't have clue.don't even know what an xml file is or where to find it or what mnt means ?
Hi, NaviX is a separate program in xbmc(Kodi) so when you save it stays there...as do down loads to. All the xbmc add-ons use there own favourites so I'm not if you can transfer it over... Good question...
Check the link from the post prior, the XML file is within XBMC's userdata directory, a page on that topic is linked to from the favourites page. You can edit it on the DroidBOX directly, but yes you could use a USB device to cut and paste the file onto, then edit the XML file (plain text, used for favourite info in this case), and then cut'n'paste it back to the DroidBOX afterwards.
Listen SS , i appreciate your honestly trying to help me but given that i have supplied all that extra info TWICE and as i have posted previously i hav had to find a wizard from a different company to DL to my box because I have given up on your mob ( thats no reflection on yours or davids customer care which clearly is exemplary. ) i'll traw gge net fir a( root you device ) method rather than mess about looking for archived receipt numbers from amazon, also i wouldn't have a clue about a 6digit number from droidbox.
