I seem to be getting streams ok HDetc but with a few well quite a few i seem to get kicked off afyer 30 secs or so is it the box or stream id also like to update to new kodi and update droid box will this all be done automatically or do i run the OTA updater i like using open elec if that makes a difference

Can you provide a link to the T8 software update. The link on another post takes you to a site for "mega" storage app!
Hello @azabhoy when you click the link and it takes you to mega download site. There you will get one option to download via browser, please click on that. Click on Download via browser and it will start downloading.

You can run manual update by downloading ROM to SD card and just copy tom to it.
Once that is done,you can then run box in recovery menu and install ROM from there.

If all you want is new Kodi(XBMC),please understand that its not new version of Kodi(XBMC) that provide add ons,its add on wizard itself.
Version that you run at the moment won't become obsolete in a long time.
You can also download Kodi(XBMC) from our main website and manually install it .
