Good evening,

I turned on my droid box this evening and it booted into this screen without warning. I had updated my firmware over the weekend with no problems at all. It appears to me that the box has defaulted to standard android, rather than droidbox os but I am not sure. It's just stuck here and will not do anything apart from turn off and on

I have a t8s +

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Paul

Many people have had this problem so it is not just you. I don't have an answer as I do not have an openelec machine, but wait for one of the other users or admin to advise you on how to recover. Usually the first call is to do a factory restore.

I have the same model and it happened to myself and many others, the only fix is to restore. Use the toothpick method. Try this guide:-

Is there an option that doesn't rely on a factory reset. I've had to do mine several times and its starting to become a bit of a joke that I've spent more time fixing the box than watching stuff.
