hi guys thinking of gettin a SSHD drive a 2tb
Seagate FireCuda Laptop 2TB 2.5" Hybrid Hard Drive - SSHD 7mm would this fit in the box? any help on this matter would be great,ooops i have a version 1 t8s box also any 1 point me to a how to vid showing how to install the os back on to new drive and ofc the installing of the drive it self many thanks guys in advance

We have not tried this particular model, but any 2.5" physical size should fit fine. We have tested up to 2TB so storage size should be ok as well.
Hi guys - I decided to go for the Kingston A400 240GB SSD. This fits easily inside the box and took about 5 minutes to install. Hope this helps others.
Quick reminder that 9.5mm is the maximum height for drives in the DroidBOX models that can accept an internal hard drive. Don't think they make many consumer drivers taller than that these days anyway.
