gmax backlit 2.4g mx3 air mouse

hi I have the above and it works perfectly with my m8spro android box but I want it to control on,off and source select on my tv also. does anyone know how I can do this as the manual is to be honest a bit vague lol.

With Droix (droidbox) air mice you used to be able to program them to mimic tv remote commands.
Here's how it used to work.
Whether it works with your kit i don't know.
