Hi,

First post here, so please be gentle.

I'm all set up with OpenElec on my T8-S. (for some reason accessing my NAS is quicker than through Android-XBMC)

But having changed the skin to Aeon Now,
I've lost the power menu option to 'Switch to Android'.
I've tried to add the 'quit' Kodi command the skins power
submenu, but this then doesn't show up. Are certain Kodi
commands not supported in OpenElec?

Please help.

Openelec doesn't like axon skin, the only way to get back to android is through reseting or fresh start which will take you back to a clean install and is a pain. I change my skin back to confluence which gives me the power button and the I can close into Android. That's the only work around I have found. Then if you want you have to select your model skin when you go back in to kodi on openelec and it should all be there. But remember to change back to confluence to exit.

Hope that helps

I just need to know what Kodi command the 'Return to Android' item, in the on-screen power button, in confluence uses please.

I can then hopefully map this to the power menu in Aeon Nox.

Anyone please?

If you use the Apple TV pack in openELEC, you should be left with the confluence skin and the Switch To Android menu function (rather than installing a different pack and needing to switch skins). I've moved this thread to the Skins area of the forum.
As for the code used, I'll look into that and post back here again when I've looked into it, but you might get more joy asking in the official Kodi forum - something like http://forum.kodi.tv/forumdisplay.php?fid=67

I found that by going to Addons then Programs and clicking Openlec Configure it shows the Appearance screen, scroll down to Reboot to Android and click it, you then exit as normal without losing your new skin profiles

Create a shortcut on your menu to that, Edd. Its the easiest way. I have mine located on the power option on the menu.

Is there a preferred asking for openelec? I like the standard confluence but after trying I still can't get the movie header to show

When you have openelec configuration highlighted in programs bring up the context menu and save it to your favourites. Then follow this path Sysem/appearance/skin /settings /set up aeon nox main menu and highlight whatever addon you want to add your shortcut to on the left(like Gaz said earlier probably Power), then on right scroll down to submenu. Then press Type in the top middle until favourites appear, then add fav to your submenu.
