Hi! I recently purchased an RG350. I still have another week or so before it arrives in the mail, but I was hoping I could get a couple questions about the system answerd before I have it in my hands.

1 - The description says the system supports micro sd cards up to 128gb. Does this mean it supports exFAT?

2 - My RS97 wasn't able to play any first person shooters on the GBA emulator, also some racing games ran incredibly slow. Does the RG350 run GBA FPS games at normal speed?

Thanks!!

You can format the card to FAT32 using software such as Mini Tool Partition Wizard https://www.partitionwizard.com/ If you try formatting it with Windows format it wont allow FAT32 as they limit it to 32GB storage. With the software you can format any size storage to FAT32.

It should play GBA games fine from what I have seen.

Hi,

what's the status of the HDMI out - is it working with the custom firmware? What about the analog tv-out?

Thanks!

According to the makers of the RG350, HDMI support is being worked on at the moment. I have not tried the AV out. With custom firmware, neither output will work unless the makers provide the necessary information, source code/libraries to make it work.

I was wondering if anyone else has tried to use a 128 GB SD card in the unit? Ive formatted it to FAT32 using partition wizard, then i loaded it up with my rom collection. I inserted the SD card into the external slot, but the unit has failed to recognize the card. It does however recognize the 32GB card that was shipped with my unit, so i know the external slot is functioning properly. Perhaps its my card? Im using a kingston 128gb micro SD XC. I was also thinking maybe it might only work in the internal slot, but I thought id check here first to see if anyone else has experienced issues before I open up the unit again and flash my 128GB card with the firmware. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! thanks!

The largest I have tried it with is a 64GB card. On other devices, 128GB and above can be more of a chance if they work but generally they seem to be fine for me. You can try using it as the internal storage and see if that works, if it does not then simply put the original Micro SD Card in.

I just wanted to post an update about my sd card issue incase anyone else has a similar problem.

I re formatted my 128gb sd card then flashed the firmware onto it. Using disk genius, I resized the primary partition to use up all the unallocated space on the card (about 115gb). Using the same program, I moved over all my roms to a new folder in the primary partion. Just finished putting the sd card into the internal slot, and it works perfectly!

Hi all,

Bought a RG350 and tried upgrading to custom firmware 1.5 but now the device is not starting up anymore :-(

Device was booting up ok before the update, I've installed CFW 1.5 on new SD card (using ETA Prime tutorial), but now the device won't turn on with either the new SD with CFW 1.5 or the original SD with original firmware.

The LED on the device is light green and goes to full red when plugged, but nothing appears on the screen. Any suggestions / idea?

Thanks.

Hi Dave, thanks for your quick response.

Tried using your link and downloaded the img again from the source listed there. Used Etcher to flash the SD card and this time didn't extend the EXT partition. Same result: screen is still black, LED is light green. When I press the reset button, the LED goes from light green to bright green. When I plug the device, the LED is bright red. Is there a hard reset button or combination? I did unplug the battery and plugged it back in, hope this didn't screw things up.

I had the same issue.... But I open the device back up and noticed there was two black and red wires on the lower right corner that were bent over and has contacted t to another pin... Once I move them away from the pin it would boot back up again

Cannot log in to the Black Friday page as it says my details are incorrect although I can log in to the main page with the same details ?

I ordered it anyway via PayPal without logging in but I would like it added to my account if possible please.
