firmware update issues

hi I have just tried to update firmware to my mxq box ,onew of the files didn't update it said couldn't overwrite older version so my update didn't work plz help

Hi

If you interrupted the install process you need to do it all over again.
Please clear data on your OTA updater app and once that is done do force close.

Here is how to:
Go into Settings>Apps>Swipe right to system app list or all app list>OTA updater>Clear data and do force stop .
OR
Settings> Other>More Settings> Swipe right to system app list or all app list>OTA updater>Clear data and do force stop .

After this is done please make sure to go to OTA updater app from the home screen and press download.Once download is done please proceed with the install.
NOTE:
Our servers for OTA update are down at the moment and currently fix is being made.Please try to run OTA updater in a day or two to see if it works.You can still do the procedure from above and solve current problem

The above instructions refer to a Droidbox supplied iMXQ Pro.

Is that the box you have?

If not, you need to speak with your box supplier as downloading the wtong firmware could brick your box.
