When trying to fast forward or move on videeo to see what the quality is like it takes ages to catch up. Is there a setting i need to change ??

this is proberly down to your internet speed, i have 50mb fibre optic and this can just about keep up with ff and jumping ahead in a vid, using a wire instead of wi fi will help

Im on 36 mb fibre optic BT infinity. My imx6 old box used to FF better than my current T8s ?? Seems odd.

strange because if the mx6 was ok then the t8 s should be, before my t8 s i had a fire stick and had buffer problems and used easy advanced settings to increase the cache size

Try going to system, then video, then acceleration and make sure you highlight all
Libstagefright
MediaCodec
and the other one I think its Amlogic or something like that, I'm out at the moment so its from my memory. See if it helps anyway.
