fairly new to this, add on questions

Can anyone help, or point me to a relevant thread

I am fairly new to this, but i have worked out how to delete and add add ons, but my question is how many do i really need?

There are loads on my box but dont know how much purpose they serve.

So far i have mainly been watching films and tv shows via Genesis via the wookie set up

SALTS (films + tv)
Genesis (films + tv)
Icefilms (films)
1channel (films)
Phoenix (sport + films + music concerts)
Sports devil (sports)
Dexter TV (everything)
UK Turk (everything)
Navi-x (everything)

Others here will have their own preferences.
so yes, a lot of the addons are probably superfluous.
