Very new but have owned a T8 for a few months & now I have upgraded to a T8-S Plus.

Am running Wookie Lite on the Openelec drive & The Beast on the Android drive.

I have attached a 1TB Samsung external hard drive to USB.
Would like to use this hard drive for backups from both Openelec & Android.

At the moment my backups seem to go somewhere within the DroidBox.
My question is how do I direct the backups from Openelec & Android to separate folders on the external hard drive & can this be setup to work automatically on a wekly basis?

Really like this new Droidbox. Find it very quick & responsive

I also had this dilemma but finally sussed it last night. Look in your programs in Kodi (openelec side) for BACKUP, can be configured to put the kodi backup onto your hard drive. Goodluck
