Exodus/Specto speed up providers (Worked for me)

Hi all,
Just thought I would share something I came across last night. This may or may not work for you or even be what your looking for but at the moment its spot on for me and fast!!!!

Basically is how to speed up the downloading of sources and providers in Exodus and Specto.



In Exodus - Go to settings/General settings and then slide the Timeout slider down to number Ten.

Go back and select a film in say Movies/people watching.

Then click a film.

Wait and watch - MAKE NOTE of all the providers which drop in after 10 seconds.

Click and hold on frost source found which will take you back to settings.

From there go to Providers and find all the ones you made a note of and disable them.

Go back to same film and try again - should be really really fast.

Do the same again for other films and this should flush out all the providers which are causing lag!!!!



Just thought I would share this - please don't take this as a system set-up. Its just an idea I came across and it working so far.

After all - if it don't work or your Exodus isn't working - then just add all the providers back in.

Just an idea everyone.

i been using this trick for a long time, its good tip for those that dont know. zen and salts is another addon you can edit.

Its really excellent - I can't believe I didn't know about this.
It works perfect for me.
I didn't know you could do Zen and Salts too - thanks for that.

Can also do it with providers that demand a sign in from a browser or sign up to their site/forum.

Ye I have used it to delete these also ChrisM - its a really good way to get round bad providers.
Your welcome even though it wasnt me who came up with it - I merely found the idea.
