Ethernet help

I just purchased the t8 s-plus and I'm new to the whole streaming world but I bought this box so I could use the ethernet cord my wifi works fine with the box I get 40mbps.
With ethernet cord hooked up I get .06mbps is there a fix for this or should I return the box.

Can you please check if ethernet cable works properly?
Also if you could check if box perform the same on your work or friends/family house with another modem(ISP provider).
If so please contact us directly to sort the problem out.

Thank you for the reply I sent the box back and got a new one now it works fine but as soon as I turn the box on it asks me to enter 8 key how do I get it to stop asking me that
