Hi, I bought this some time back and never managed to get it working. The only button that works is standby on/off button.

I think it should work with the dongle out of the box but is there a pairing procedure if it doesn't ?

@Andy Clare Can you try holding down the OK and Home buttons on the front of the remote control. Make sure the device with the USB dongle is already turned on, or at least supplying power to the USB socket.

Thank you for your reply. I have just tried that and it didn't work. The blue and red lights came on and then once the OK/Home buttons were released, the red buttons just blinked for a bit. The unit has no batteries - that's correct ? When connected via the USB cable, the red light becomes solid which suggests it's charged. Thanks again.

hi peeps, i have recently purchased a vip plus remote .
two days ago the volume is going down on its own on my t8-s my i8 works fine (very confused)
has anyone else had this problem

If the issue remains still, can you try wiggling the volume down button on your remote, to make sure it isn't slightly caught under the case?
