Hi, I'm looking at buying an X7 ultimate. Will this device stream from my buffalo NAS drive. It's fully DLNA certified with iTunes and Twonky server already installed. Many thanks in advance

With XBMC, DLNA Player (Ginkgo), BubbleUPnP and the rest, everything should be fine. You might want to see if any customers have a DLNA server set up already with their X7 Ultimate.

Just checking out the counterparts, for people wanting to run their DroidBOX as a DLNA server (rather than renderer), again BubbleUPnP, WireMe if you want to roll your own from source code(!), ControlDLNA is worth a look- https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.github.nutomic.controldlna and http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2490542 , DLNA/UPnP Server - play store/google and finally Pixel Media Server.

I've moved this to the General discussion area and stickied it. Hopefully people interested in using DLNA in their home network with an Android device involved will find the suggestions above as somewhere to start.
