Date and Time

Hi all I think this has been covered before but have forgotten the fix if there is one, my T8-s plus' date and time has gone t**s up. Todays date is 1/1/1970, will not let me set it past 1993. I know its not the box and its an android error as not only the 'locating by network' been down for months the 'synchronizing date' gone as well. Think this was contributing yesterday to some streams being unplayable in my build and others. My broadband is fine. Anyone in the know shed some light pls.

Hi, Go into settings, time & date, turn off automatic date and time, now you should let you change them also your timezone.
then turn automatic time and date back on.

Thanks angela, all good after a reboot also.

Won't let you select a year past 1993 if you do it manually. You just have to pray that a reboot sorts it out.. A bit daft really..

Also worth looking at the Android settings area (So click on More on the second row), rather than the initial Settings area. The options offered in equivalent areas in More Settings can help sometimes.
