Custom builds of Kodi? Custom firmware?
With your T8-S, I'd stick with the firmware you have, at least until the warranty runs out, and Kodi will be 14.1 or 14.2 on your device, so unless these custom builds promise something really good when you use them, stick with what you've got would be my approach.
