I tried the factory reset again and the droid still has a spinning stomach so i am now trying to locate a male to male usb lead so i can have a go at the firmware update. I have had two links sent to me regarding the different firmware upgrades for different chips but i can only seem to extract one of them for some reason so i am a bit stumped at the moment unless i am doing something wrong. The link i cant extract is for the AP6210 WiFi ....any ideas SilentlyScreaming ?

Right just to let you know I finally managed to get a link that worked and extracted ok off support and I have updated the firmware and everything working ok. Even updated to moded confluence skin but by it's been a journey and an half....let you know if it's been worth it lol.
