Charging the RG351V

I’ve just taken delivery of the RG351V handheld and I don’t seem to be able to charge it. I’ve pugged the provided USBC lead in to the DC port on the device and in to the power supply, using a mobile phone plug, but the lcd light that is supposed to turn yellow doesn’t show any colour. Am I supposed to leave the device switched on when charging?
anyone else had similar problem?

Is the charger you're using capable of regular 5v/2a output, or is it one of those "fast chargers"? The RG351V doesn't play nice with the latter.

I’m using the charge plug if use for my mobile which I assume is low charge.

I have just got the 351MP but i'm going to assume that they behave the same for charging.
This https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08DJ9J7MS/?th=1 Will not charge the device, nor will my PC even though both meet the 5V/2.0A spec.
My old oneplus charger OnePlus Store - OnePlus (United Kingdom) - https://www.oneplus.com/uk/product/oneplus-warp-charge-30-power-adapter will happily charge it even though it fast charges upto 5v/6.0A!

Oh whoops, seems I somehow missed the reply. Sorry @Clive !

In any case, the ANBERNIC RG devices are finicky in that they generally won't charge via C-to-C connections. You'll need to use an A-to-C cable like the one included in the package. That's why @irongecko 's OnePlus charger worked, but the new one didn't.
