Cast music

I us e an app on android called all connect to cast into Kodi, if its just to the main box try the droidbox share app if your model supports it.

If a T8, rather than -S or -S Plus then DroidBOX Share isn't available.
If AllConnect (see https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tuxera.streambels ) has problems streaming I would probably share the music from your phone with something like SambaDroid - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=berserker.android.apps.sambadroid . On your T8, using ES File Explorer or Kodi (you could add it to the Music library) you could then access the tracks easily enough.
If streaming, consider making the IP address on your T8 static, let us know if you need a hand there.
