Can't run app

Hi my t8-s box won't allow me to run my sky sports go and now tv subscription. A message keeps saying playback not supported on rooted device. How can I un root or get this app working on the droidbox? As it's the main reason I bought this box

you can look at the supersu app to unroot. But, I'm sure there is code in the sky go app that prevents using a hdmi output on devices like tablets and phones. http://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Sky-Go-Apps/Hdmi-not-supported/td-p/2330102. there are many alternatives available in kodi.

I am afraid to damage my device (or not be able to re-root) if I do it...

If you re-read the above you will see that even if unrooted, code embedded in the sky apps prevents output via hdmi. Same applies to any mobile device like a phone or tablet
