Can I use kodi 15 on openELEC

Openelec 6 is in beta testing at the moment and once fully stable you system will update automatically as long as you have auto updates on in your openelec settings. This update will bring kodi 15. If you really want it now check out the openelec wiki and you can download the beta test version and manually install. Personally I will wait till the stable version is out.
Just to keep the thread up to date, the latest openELEC update has returned the VPN configuration entry to openELEC's Settings. See https://droidbox.co.uk/blog/t8-s-ota-update-for-openelec/

Sorry for the delay, can you let me know what sort of update you're looking for? If you've not set up a VPN connection previously, http://support.purevpn.com/openelec-how-to-configure-pptp runs you through the basics in openELEC.
The latest OTA update does it for you, go to your OTA updater in apps in Android and run the update.
If you go to droidboxs main site and then blogs, there more info on this update which was on the 31/10/15.
Please follow the instructions and read the info on the blog. Since that update there also another one, which fixes some other issues..

The OTA update fails for me every time. I'm attempting this in Android as instructed above and scrolling to the app marked OTA Updater. The message states 1.15 version is available but when I click on update, it flashes for a brief second (too quick to read) and does nothing.
Sorry to here, might be time to use the live chat function or even email the office to let them know. I'm sure they will sort it out for you. It's just a pain when it goes wrong, I've had things go wrong on the last update and lost everything. Tuck me awhile to get it back and counted to 10 a few times, but I'm glad for this forum and live chat...who helped me sort it out.

@Darrin Did you by any chance download the T8 firmware and manually flash it to your T8-S?
If so, you've made your T8-S behave like the single Operating System T8. Grab us for a live chat or phone call and we'll get this sorted. If you could have your order ID to hand. If it is the wrong firmware on there, we should be able to repair that in the office.
