Can I record a tv program or movie in Kodi on the T8

Hi All,

Another question, I am struggling to find a way to record anything on the T8 can this be done, the remote has no rec button.
Am I missing something?

I too have a T8. I don't think you can record on this model. Be great if you could.
I think the T8-S has this and download features.

Downloading streams is possible, however...

The add-on (in Kodi/XBMC/DBMC/SPMC) or application has to support it. If in Kodi/etc then instead of clicking on the add-on, highlight it, then press the Menu (two to four horizontal lines) or C button, then select Add-on settings. Scroll through the available tabs and check for Download options.
You need to have enough storage space left to store the file.
Live TV streams can't be recorded at all.
