Hi
In the past I have just used kodi and then wookie wizard to set it up and then someone told me about Ares wizard.
I have just been watching videos on Ares wizard and would like to know what builds are, please can you explain I am totally new to kodi and all its setups.
Thank you.

Others may define slightly differently, but to me Builds are the different packs that a Wizard offers.
You might find one build created by someone only interested in live streams of sporting events (so they concentrate on including add-ons that cover this), another build made by someone only interested in watching TV shows and films, and another build that has everything. Some will have lots of high resolution wallpapers that get changed as you highlight different menus, others will keep it lightweight (so your device has less memory used up).

Hi All, Been a while since I've been on here and I wondered if anyone can recommend a build that was similar to Ares as I know some are not available now. I used to use Exodus or similar to get old TV shows or films that I like but it seems that these are not working. e.g When I search for example program A it just hangs and stays there and nothing comes back from a search request.

Any Help is much appreciated!!!

Thanks Nigelar, I cannot see anything on that thread that shows the link, the one that is displayed shows a message "stop being nosy". Do I just add from a zip file from the appropriate link? apologies for the questions as I said its been a while since I updated my droidbox.

Hi You need to add the Perksmedia url in File Manager ( h**p://perksmedia.net/wizard ) replace ** with tt
then perksmedia repository zip once the zip file is installed, install from repository select perksmedia then program addons then install the perksmedia wizard, seans builds are in the community builds.

Hi All, I have added this as a source, but I cannot find perksmedia as a program addon, have I missed something? Is there anything I have to do to make this appear?

Many Thanks in advance

Hi All, I'm afraid none of that worked at all on Librelec or Android Kodi version 16 or 17. On 17 I got as far as community builds and when trying to install Seans build it just bombed out with an error saying to check a log.

Are there any builds at out that work with Kodi 16 or 17? This is really frustrating as they all used to work so well.

Thanks in advance

Maybe a fresh install of kodi on the android side might help. Uninstall current version (go into settings and clear data/cache and force stop the app first gor good luck). Then do a clean install from google play or the official google site - assuming here you are running android 5 or later and can run kodi 17.
