Build updates

Has anyone had any problem updating a build from the new ares update in LibreElec 8.0.1? Am finding right at the end of an update (after a fresh start in there) when 'ares needs to close kodi' message am ending up in a L E splash screen bootloop after the close with only option on box to wipe all data and restore to factory settings. Hi, I have just updated the build to 1.1.7 using ares version 0.0.55 in LibreELEC 8.0.1 and everything went fine for me,
I don't know if it makes any difference but in fresh start I did select No to keep favourites > sources > and addon settings,.

Thanks @angela it must be something my end as I always do the same as you mention in the fresh start to stop any conflicts. Hmmm, headscratcher!!

Hi, I presume you do this but after a fresh start you do reboot your box, then enable ares again from addons > my addons > programs addons

No I haven't been doing that after a fresh start and that's the fix, normally (before the latest update) aw force closes kodi after a fresh start ie. android/ windows platforms but not on LibreElec or ios, thanks for that
