It sounds as though your cache may be a little too aggressively set (this is assuming all films, from different sources are the same). If your device tries to download too much of the video in advance (so you don't get pauses 5 minutes into the film) then you end up waiting a long time un-necessarily.
If you're happy with editing text files and navigating the folders on your device, check this post - http://www.droidboxforums.com/posts/1511 . Understand what the numbers and options do, and experiment.
If that level of tweaking is outside your comfort zone, have your order details handy, and start a live chat with us - visit http://www.droidbox.co.uk and click on the Zopim chat in the bottom right corner. Point the agent who replies to this thread, and if they explain they've not done this before, ask them to check when I'll be online next (I'm Chris in the real world). I'm GMT+6 right now, so weekends may work out better in terms of being online at the same time. Once we match up in online timing, I can remote into your device and alter the XML file on your behalf.

hi, my movies do not buffer at all during the day, but at night its a nightmare, mashup could run fine, Navix could take 20 or so minutes to buffer, or vice versa, so therefore I swap over to see what ones runs best at different times, "just a thought" mat
