Hello,

Last night, when trying to watch BT Sport on my droidbox (through the BT sport app, with an actual BT account), the video was a bit lagging (not buffering as per say). When I tried on my tablet (connected on the same network as the box), the video quality was much better and perfectly smooth.
Any idea on why it didn't work well on the box and how I could fix it?

Thanks

No, all through the wifi. But I'm considering using a powerline plug with ethernet to connect my box now...

That would be a good idea. I use a similar set up in our front room where the wifi signal is not good. Using the BT equivalent and Ethernet to the wifi booster I get 70-80mbps on the box. The wifi on these boxes tends not to be as good as other mobile devices the further you get from the source.

I agree with that. Ethernet all the way. Mines super fast but WiFi is a slight let down.

It can be worth disabling automatic channel selection (for 2.4 and 5GHz if necessary) on your modem/router. If you install WiFi Analyzer on your DroidBOX, you can see if there is much congestion/signal levels in real time. See https://droidbox.co.uk/how-to/justice-or-equality/ for details. If you find switching to a different channel helps with your DroidBOX's WiFi connection, it is worth then double checking other devices in your house don't suffer on the new channel(s).
